Are there any "kids club" activities that parents can do with kids?

My kids (will be 3 and 4.5) are very skittish. While they would love the kids club (oceaneer's club), I am not sure they will do it without one of their parents. Are there playgrounds where adults can play with their kids?

Or is there an adult waiting room for the kid's club where my kids could keep in eye contact while playing?

Maybe they are too young, but the activities look perfect for them. We are going (first time obviously) in May on the Fantasy.

Thanks!

My son was only 2 on our last cruise so I took him to the open houses (parents are allowed to stay) and he loved it and I could run around with him all over. They have open houses everyday at some point.

Check the Navigator, sometimes there are planned activities in the clubs where the whole family can participate

@Tiffybuggie and @dcassetta are both correct. There are open house times when adults can join in the fun. There are also toddler times or Disney Junior events where the programming is somewhat more structured like use of the magic floor for everyone visiting. But if there are activities going on during secured programming (meaning kids only) it is up to the kids to decide to participate.

Parents can only join during Open House hours.

Actually, *anyone* can go during Open House. Therefore any kids there must have their parents/guardians with them during Open House hours.

So take them during Open House times on the first day or two (they'll be listed in the Navigator), and they might just get brave and feisty enough to go without you on other days. :)

How did I forget about wake up Disney Jr, we have done that every time.
