EXCLUDING THe Varsity......What Fast Food places are there near The Ga Aquarium??? Could they accomodate a crowd of 300???

Our 5th graders are going to the aquarium in May. Theyu went the The Varsity last year and had a terrible experience. Since it is a Monday when they are going and they have to LEAVE for Atlanta no later than 6am I am trying to find an alternate for them to go for lunch other than school sack lunches. I would have to get to work at least by 3 or 4 am to get that many lunches ready in time.

Please tell me there is a McDonalds or Burger King near there. Also...if you have a phone number for that location please include it and I will call them to see if they can handle a group that large.

Up the hill from the aquarium (through the Olympic park) and across the street at the CNN building, there is a large food court on the bottom floor with many fast food options. That is the closest that I can think of.

I would be prepare for lines too. Just case there another group of kids that large is coming to area too. I know go down with the Boy scouts to a football game on Saturday and CNN food court be mood with people.

I am not sure if there any good options in Downtown Atlanta.

P.S. I would check out weather reports too. It suppose to be 6+ inches of snow coming to Atlanta. I would have the kids dress warm if be on just regular school buses.

They are going on a Monday in MAY so there should not be any snow then!!

I second the food court as there are many options there they can choose from.

Food court. . .:thumbsup2
That's where we take the kids to eat when we're downtown. . .they can choose what they like! (And there's a Moe's, which makes DH quite happy.)

I would talk to the Aquarium to see if they have lunch/catering facilities. They must have large school groups all the time. The logistics of that many kids in a food court sounds like a nightmare to me!
