Are There Any Fast Food Chains Nearby Vero Beach?

This will be my first time going to Vero Beach. I have read some of the threads regarding some of the restaurants nearby. But I haven't read any that say if there are any fast food chains such as McDonalds , Burger King, Taco Bell or although the following are not fast food, what about TGIF Fridays, Olive Gardens or Red Lobsters. And how long will it take me to drive to the grocery store, I think I read est. 20 minutes, does that sound about right?

You are going to have a great time at Vero Beach Resort. We were there for a few days last June and can't wait to go back. As far a chain dinning nearby I think that 20 minutes would be about right. You are going to have to head down to Vero Beach proper to find any selection. I do remember there being a McDonalds, Ruby Tuesday, Checkers & others in Sebastian, FL on Hwy 1 north of 510 and that might be 10 minutes. The dinning at the resort was great quality but very expensive. One thing I do remember is all the banks. I bet we passed 20 banks between Vero Beach Resort and Vero Beach. The area the resort is in seems very exclusive. You pass one gated community after another. I was confused about who they were trying to keep out, the people from the other gated communities?
