Also, if you check the Starwood specials, they occasionally have others that don't necessarily show up on the Swan/Dolphin page. For Example, there is one where if you stay 6 nights, you can get every other night at 40% off.

Plus, you can join Starwood preferred Guest and they sometimes have member specials. And don't forget AAA or AARP, Teachers, Nurses, Military.

I have stayed at both properties multiple times and have always been able to score discounts (without doing early booking, non-cancellable rates)

Thank you jmasgat!! The link you had didn't work for me so I went right to allears and found the information there. I am going one night - Nov. 5 - and had quotes of $250/Dolphin and $279/Swan (incl. tax). I just called and got allears rates of $165+tax/Dolphin and $185 tax/Swan!!

Also, for my dates in October, Swan and Dolphin both have discounted rates (lower than on their site) on Travelocity. These are non-refundable rates, but the prices are good.

Just saw this on the Starwood site. Book trhough Friday for stays during the next 6 weeks. Could be a real bargain. Saw the Dolphin for as low as $139!
