Are there any beaches to swim in?

at any of the resorts, are there any beaches to go swimming in? Just wondering.

No, there is no lake swimming at any of the WDW resorts. You can walk, play or sun on the beaches, but no swimming. And I am VERY glad of that after the 6 foot gator we saw last year in the lake at CSR!

if you mean swimming in the lakes - no.

WDW did away with swimming in the lakes a few years ago.

they say it was the bacteria in the lakes - but others have report the increase in alligators at WDW.

now there are several beaches - Polyn, GF, WL/VWL, FW, BC/YC, CBR - OKW has a play area with sand at the main pool and a new slide!

There are beaches at several resorts, but you can't swim in the water. GF and BC both have nice beaches.
