Are the Mickey rice krispie treats GF?

I keep seeing all these amazing looking treats. I'm sure my kids will want their share of sweets. We usually buy GF rice cereal and make our own treats. Does anyone know where I can find a list of ingredients for WDW rice krispie treats? Will I have access to that information when I get to WDW?

Does anyone know of other special Mickey (or character specific) treats I could get at WDW? I am very familiar with prepackaged Enjoy Life products and other similar allergy brands. I know my kids will be able to eat those without a problem. It's the other character stuff that they will really want. Of course DS5 knows how he feels after eating gluten, so I know he won't tantrum about it, but it does make me sad to always tell him "no". I'd love to tell him "yes" a couple times this trip. :goodvibes

They are not strictly gluten free. They have malt. My daughter can eat them but another friend of mine cannot.

My daughter LOVES the GF brownies. She loves being at WDW because there are so many GF options and they go above and beyond with her needs.

At each restaurant, ask for a manager and they will show you a book with what they have with all the ingredients and/or brands. She feels so special here.

We love the Enjoy Life foods as well.

The RK treats are not GF since they contain malt. However, one chef, gave my DD a GF RK treat after her meal 1 time a year ago March. She didn't get any this past trip at the begining of the month.

The character themed desserts are made on site by Disney and most of the gluten free items aren't. And I imagine the ones that are naturally gluten free are probably it made on dedicated equipment. If it's really important to have characters on baked goods, consider bringing your own cupcake decorations from the party store and adding them before you give them to your kids.

Nope, not gluten free due to the malt, but there are still treats to be found. Just asking for Mickey sprinkles on the gluten free dessert options or ice cream, Mickey ice cream bars, gluten free Mickey waffles. These are fun "special" options that are gluten free safe.
Sometimes they have had great treats for us in the past (not shaped, but just super yummy), but the last time we went it was just OMG cookies (which we can't eat due to dairy) and EnjoyLife. They actually had better options in the past?! Not sure why they switched it up. Divvies and French Meadow Bakery items were huge hits for our kids.

We haven't been for a couple years, but some of them were gf.

Thank you everyone. It's good to know ahead of time. My kids don't get many sweets, but from the pics I've seen online, it seems like there are plenty of enticing treats displayed around the parks. Hopefully I can find some plain Mickey Shaped chocolates or something for him.

I'm a little late to the party, but in case your trip isn't over yet - my DD really liked the character-shaped gummy candies. They were gluten/dairy free, sweet, special and "Disney". I think she got mickey and minnie heads, and they had sour ones of some kind, too.

The character chocolate coins were well-liked, and were GF on our last trip.
