Are the DVC membership discounts better than the Disney Chase Visa Card ones?

We are both Disney Visa Premiere Card members and now recently DVC members. Which one has better perks? We are thinking of dropping the Disney Visa card for one our bank is offering us that may be better for us.

We have both and our favorite perk is the meet and greet in Epcot that you can only get with the Disney Visa. Seems like most perks overlap but curious as to what others have to say.

For discounts the DVC membership id much better. More of a discount and you can use it in many more places.

Same here. I applied for the fee one and got it. Then when I figured out there was a no fee one, I also got that one and dropped the fee one. The free one gives me all the perks I need.

The discounts are better for DVC at the moment, though that's not always been true. (Currently 20% off merch vs. 10% with min purchase at more limited places.) I have the free VISA for the photo perks, but it's not worth the fee to me.

We are DVC owners and have the Chase Disney Visa Premium card. We like the credit card for the photo op at Disneyland as well as EPCOT. We also like the additional points we get but it only makes sense if you pay your credit card balance in full in each.. otherwise, the interest rate will eat up any rewards that you make get.

For the most part anywhere where you get a DVC dining discount you will also get the same Visa discount (10% off) with a couple exceptions. We like the Premium 2% cash back.
Yes it costs $49 a year to have, but since we are already going to Disney it is nice to have a little pile of money each year to use on our trip. It also gives you 6 months no interest on Vacation packages and DVC add ons.

Other cards may give you more, but we tend to spend those rewards throughout the year.
