Are the Beach Club Villas due for a rehab?!

Trying to consider where to stay on our next trip.....have read lots of reports about the units at BCV needing some TLC and I wondered whether they are next in line for a refresh!

Sounds like SSR is scheduled to start next year.

We stayed at BCV in 2008, and I thought they should be rehabbed then.

We were there Oct 2010 and we had 2 x one bed villas and both rooms had been recently re-decorated inside, fresh paint, new soft furnishings, new flat screen tv and the outside pool area had new chairs, sun loungers

Actually, on some areas of BCV, they have been recently rehabbed. When I stayed there in 2006, my studio was so "tired"-looking that I told someone (I think he was in Engineering)-the ultimate insult-"The furniture looks so bad that if Mousesurplus tried to sell it, I'd return it!" Coincidently, I got the same room about 3 years later-new couch, everthing cleaned or replaced.

OKW was opened in 1992. It got the first rehab starting in 2010. You have another eight years or so to go.

We were there in November and it was perfectly lovely. I think that there was a rehab done fairly recently (last year?) with paint and carpets. I can't imagine it completely rundown in a few months.

We stayed at BCV in a lock-off in Dec. and a 2 bedroom in April and found the rooms to be in good shape. I think some of the rooms have been refurbished over the past 1-2 years. Have a great trip!
