I saw an ad for them a while back but can't find any info on them now. Are they a thing of the past?

Any suggestions as to the cheapest way to get 2 day tickets that will allow us into both parks on the same day?
thanks.

Nope. Universal recalled any remaining tickets out there. If there are any left and you try to buy them, they will not be valid. Retailers have not been able to activate the tickets. Some posters on here have tried and said when the retailers went to activate them, they were unable to because Universal put a block on them. I'll see if I can find that post.

The $99 tickets that were purchased through AAA and previously on the Universal website are no longer available (however, if you have them and haven't used them, they are good forever). If you can find some through your local AAA, then go for it. There may still be a few hanging around.

It is the Kroger tickets ($89) that retailers can no longer activate and have been recalled. However, if you did purchase them and had them activated at the store, they too are good forever.

You may find tickets that are a bit cheaper than the two day/two park ones on the Universal website if you look at places like mapleleaf tickets, etc.

Thank you for clarifying damo--I think my heart just stopped for a couple of seconds!! We leave tomorrow to use the $99 7-day tickets that I bought last Christmas. We were supposed to do Disney & Universal last spring break, but after we got to WDW, DS got sick. We really cut back on our activities until he felt better. Thankfully we hadn't made it to Universal yet when he got sick, so the tickets were never activated. Now, a year later, we're finally ready to try again. :) DH has never been confident that we would actually be able to get into the parks with only the piece of paper that I printed out... for just a moment I had a horrible vision of his concerns becoming reality!

Our AAA office has 7 day tickets for $105. Worth checking out.

Do you know if any member can buy them? I live in Kansas City and called all our local offices today but nobody had them. I would love to get these from your office and pay for shipping...wonder if that's an option.

When I called, I was told I had to pick up the tickets at the office because I asked if they could be mailed to me. Sorry!
