Are taxis readily available at most resorts?

We've stayed at the AKL, but that was a while ago and I wasn't really looking for a cab back then. This time we're staying in no less than three resorts. On top of that, we'll be hopscotching back and forth a bit between PSs and shows.

So my question is are there taxis sitting outside each resort at all times of the day and night? Do they tend to congregate mostly at the deluxes? If not, should I arrange for one the night before? Can I do it in the morning and expect one to arrive quickly? Is this something a CM at guest services can do? Help!!!

While taxis are pretty available Iam not sure they sit at resorts waiting for fares.
I think an average wait is about 15 miutes but it has been shorter. If you have a PS or need to be at a specific place at a specific time it might be a good idea to make arrangements at the bell desk in advance.
