Are shows full to capacity at HS now?

I know all of the rides at HS have major waits now due to the influx of people for ROTR. What is it like trying to get into the shows? I go to Disney every year and it was always the case that everyone who showed up for a performance of Frozen Sing Along, Beauty and the Beast, Muppets, Lightning McQueen, Little Mermaid, Disney Jr. etc got a seat. Is that still the case? Has anyone showed up in advance of one of these shows and been closed out and had to wait until the next performance?

From what I've read, the shows are still pretty easy to get into in standby. I know for Frozen in our visit in December, we pretty much walked right into the theater 5 minutes before showtime.

And unless you have a conflict it's not hard finding a later time to go on an off chance you do get shut out until the next performance.

Yes, the shows are at capacity. That was my experience last week, and wait times seem no better this week.

We missed our Indy FP by 2 minutes due to a slow moving lunch line at backlot. 11:47 and the entire show was full and were at standing room only for guests. In prior visits I've never seen that happen.

Thought we'd kill some time with Voyage of the Little Mermaid, jump in queue 5 minutes before the next show (10am). That show was already full, and the queue was almost full for the show 25 minutes after that one.

We didn't try for Frozen or B&B shows, but I know people were getting turned away from Frozen 10 minutes prior to showtime.

Maybe things get better the farther into the day you go, but there is such a mad rush of people in the morning at HS, everything gets a massive wait. I don't expect it to get any better with MMRR opening soon. I expect similar crowds the rest of Feb and through April/Easter.
