Are savannah or club level rooms at AKL ever included in the public discounts?

Forgive me if this has been asked a million times already, but I couldn't find an answer when I searched.

DH and I will be visiting WDW (alone!) in January and I thought we had settled on WL, but now we're tossing around the idea of AKL. We would only be interested in staying either club level or savannah view, and even though January is value season, I still don't want to pay rack rate.

So, my question is, have club level or savannah view rooms been included in the general public disounts recently? If we can't get a disount, then we'll just stick with WL. Thanks for your help!

The discount offered on a savannah room at AKL with the Summer and Extended summer discount, the Florida resident discount, the current bounce back discount, and the AP discount before today was only 5% off rack rate.

The standard and pool rooms were either 30% (FL resident and GP summer discount) or 35% (bounce back and AP discount) off of rack rate.

Today the AP room only discount was extended through the end of September I believe and something magical happened with the AKL discount for savannah rooms. I'm not sure if it was intended, but some people... were given a 25% discount on savannah rooms with AP discount. Again I don't know if it was intended or if it will last. I was told it could be a mistake and could drop back to 5% if it was, but it was bookable today at 25% off with the AP discount. CL rooms I don't know about.

Hmmm, that's interesting for sure. Thanks for the info! We won't book until discounts are (hopefully) released later this year, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!
