are plenty of DVC studios for 6/22-6/27 still avail?

I am waiting for closing on a resale contract and anticipate I won't be in DVC system to make reservation until end Jan, early Feb. Getting nervous about what would be left--and our dates are not flexible and we only want STudio.
Has anyone made recent reservations for stduios end June 08 and know what's left, or did anyone make studio reservations last year as late as Feb or March and still get studio for late June?
I am guessing BCV, BWV (standard) would all be booked--but what about other places--AKV, OKW, etc.? thanks, Elaine

Actually you won't have any trouble. There will be plenty of Studios still available by the time you're ready to book. I wouldn't even say that BWV standard or BCV studios would all be booked already by then. You might still have those options.

Just last week, we "let go" of 2 BWV Boardwalk view studios and "traded" them for 2 VWL studios for June 25 to 28. One of the dates only had 3 studios available, so there's at least one date that could be difficult at VWL for that time.

VWL will be our home resort, and we like that one for Christmas, so we wouldn't want to stay at VWL for June 2008--glad that is the tough one!

For this trip, OKW, BW, BCV and AKV would all be fine, with SSR being our last choice (b/c we stayed there last summer and want to try a new DVC).

Those are the EXACT dates are was looking to book a studio for. My home resort is the BWV - I called this past Sat.(Dec.16) - no studios available - standard or preferred. None were available at the BCV either. I got one at VWL and wait-listed BW. CM told me there were studios also available at OKW, SS and AKL. I'm probably going to keep my VWL though; I'm booked at BWV for mid-nov. also. Thought we try something new in June.

As of this past Nov.12, we couldn't get a BW "standard" studio for June 21-26th ; only preferred was available, and just pool/garden view ones (which is what we took ).

I think the fact that the 4th of July falls on the weekend may tie up the dates prior to and after that weekend - there really is not a single "4th of July week" this year.
