It seems like it to me, anyway.
Part of the fun of being a grandparent is shopping for baby/toddler clothes, and believe me, I'm loving every minute of it! I have noticed that it's hard to find overalls, especially larger than a 12 month size.
I think overalls are so cute on little ones.
When my own three kids were babies and toddlers, they practically lived in Osh Kosh overalls and shortalls. I've always liked babies to look like babies, and not to be dressed in older kid-style clothes. The only overalls that my 17-month old grandson has are the ones that I've bought for him. My daughter prefers regular pants on him, but luckily she doesn't mind if I indulge in the occasional pair of overalls.
And she's probably more the norm. I've noticed when I'm out that most babies, and almost all toddlers, are not dressed in overalls. Now I'm not knocking regular pants, because I know there are a lot of adorable styles out there for little ones! In fact, I just bought several pairs of cute pants for my grandson.
Just wondering though, if anyone else has noticed a trend away from overalls?
