Are my kids too young to enjoy Disney??

My youngest was 12 months on our first trip to WDW. He had the time of his life. He rode every ride he could for his age and enjoyed all the attractions, including Wishes.

Of course he probably forget everything as soon as we walked through the exit but those were wonderful memories for our family

In other words...I'm all for little ones at WDW

My Ds was 2.5 last year when he went. I still get tears in my eyes when I remember the look on his face when he saw the castle. The first night after MK he was talking about the castle in his sleep. If you take a little time to prepare your kids, you will all have the trip of a lifetime.

We took our boys for the first time when they were 3.5 and 7 months. They both enjoyed it. A day didn't go by when our older DS didn't ask to go back. We took them the second time at 4 and 15 months. Again, they both relished in it. Our 15 month gets so excited everytime he sees a Disney character now too. Our next (planned) trip DS#1 will be 5.5, DS#2 will be one month shy of 3, and DS#3 will be about 15 months. We are talking about squeezing in a long weekend for DS#1 5th birthday in February, in which case the boys will be 5, 2, 6 months.

I think the bigger question though, would this be the first trip or the only trip. If it is the first trip, they'll enjoy it and there is no pressure to get everything in/remember it forever. If, however, it will be your only trip, you might want to wait until they are older so that they do remember it forever.

I have been taking my kids to WDW since they were almost 3. The oldest is 11 and can't wait to go this Dec.

Where you stay will best be determined by when you go and how much you want to spend. One thing I can tell you, is with kids that age you want to stay on Disney property. Less hassel, the staff is better suited, and the magic continues at the hotel.

We have had good success with the Value and Moderate resorts, although we are now a family of 6 :grouphug: and now must get 2 rooms.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Good luck and enjoy.... :goodvibes
