Are most car services around $250 roundtrip now?

Looking to book a service for a trip that starts on the 23rd. We haven’t used a service in probably 10-12 years. We don’t want to use Mears. It’s myself, daughter and 19 month old. She doesn’t want to do an Uber with the baby. Any advice on which one to choose? Thanks!!

We are not getting Groceries this trip and this company offers cases of water which is all we are needing so our total was $255 for round trip, case of water and gratuity.

Yes, we’re paying about $260.00, but I waited until the last minute to book (actually, I forgot, but don’t tell! - things have been a little crazy around here lately). I think we paid closer to $235 back in May. But DH prefers using the car services to the alternatives.

I looked at them but GF had recommended AwayWeGo. Sounds like something to consider based on cost for next trip

Perhaps but I would trust these companies to have car seats properly installed when transporting kids. That is not something I want to take to chance and I also don’t have to worry about bringing it on the plane. Yes I know it is free but it is still a pain to bring it.

$260 is HIGH! We are using GearFusion in January. Worked out to be $82 each way (with a car seat) including a discount code.

That totally depends on how busy they are. The one time I skipped my normal service and went to use Lyft or Uber, it was almost $100 one way before tip. That was arriving late at night.

That seems really high to me. I'm pretty sure we paid $125 round trip plus tip on our last trip. We have used Florida Town Cars for many years. There was one major issue one year when they couldn't pick us up to bring us to the airport buy they did pay for the uber ride.

We are booked with GearFusion for $198 for January MCO to Fort Wilderness. 6-passenger SUV, no grocery stop. There was a discount code I used but I didn't write it down. It's available here on the Transportation forum somewhere.

Last time we went, Tiffany Towncar was $195 and we liked them a lot. That was 3 years ago and they are about $350 now.

WOW that is really cheap. I used to get that price many many years ago. Every place I look at is right around $250.
