We are going to WDW January 4-11. I have made dinner ADR, but none for lunch (one for breakfast). Should I make some for lunch?

Issue is my gf doesn't like having everything planned (I love it, thrive on a schedule). She's already frustrated that dinner's are all planned (although we can change many of them). Not to mention that weather may have an impact on our daily plans.

We are doing the Deluxe Dining Plan, so we want to have TS almost everyday.

Any tips on what to do with our extra points?

Here are our current ADR's:
1/4/2010 Chefs De France 6:00
1/5/2010 caliornia grill 5:35
1/6/2010 Cinderella's Royal Table 9:35 AM
1/6/2010 Boma 5:35
1/7/2010 O'Hana 8:40
1/8/2009 Le Cellier 7:15
1/9/2009 brown derby 6:50
1/10/2009 artists point 7:00

This January I was glad that we made lunch reservations, but they were mostly character meals for our 18-month old. I remember overhearing several walk-ups being given one-hour wait times at Crystal Palace one day. I don't know how feasible it would be to try to walk in at more adult-oriented restaurants at that time of year.

As for making or not making ADRs, I would go ahead and make them without burdening your GF with the details. Then before lunch time each day you can suggest the ADR that you have made and offer her the choice of keeping it or spontaneously waiting somewhere else. (Of course, I would cancel any ADRs that you will not keep.)

Depends on the restaurant. If it's Le Cellier, Coral Reef or a character meal, yes. If not, you're likely to be able to find some lunch somewhere. Since you're on the dining plan, it's smarter not to try to wing it too much.
