Are dogs allowed in any of Disney's resorts???

If you are highly dog allergic you will have an attack anyway if the building has a shared vent system. They would have to completely seal the ductwork on that floor off from eveything else with a seperate unit.

I have to tell u something tho, both my DH and myself are highly allergic to dogs and cats, in fact we both can get asthma. We have a "nonallergic" yorkie, which we were afraid of getting bc of the above but luckily no problems with her. Having said that, we do go to hotels that allow dogs, we bring her many times and the Universal hotels that allow dogs on certain floors and the Starwood hotels such as Sheraton's, Westins, etc. that we have stayed in, have never caused us any problems whatsoever.

Bc there is not someone there at those boarding facilities at night, at least I don't think there is, or they don't walk ur dog at night I don't believe

They close an hour after the parks close(even during parties and EMH), but the CM's stay there until wee hours cleaning up, etc while its quiet and the dogs are sleeping! We have been let in late late, like at 3am before (all you have to do is call security and they will let you in) and while we were there, it was quiet, a nite lite was left on and it was very peaceful. They also open an hour before the MK, but we are always there like 2 hours before and have had no problem walking our dogs. There is a CM there to let you in. They will walk your dog for you anytime they are there....you just have to ask them and tell them a certain time and it costs a few dollars extra. ;)

That is good to know, thanks for the info. We do bring her there while we're at the parks. There are just such great options if u do bring your dog. The Universal hotels are up to par with the Disney resorts IMO and have lovely walkways, etc. Some dogs do ok being boarded tho I guess, mine not too great. I honestly wish Disney would allow pets, at least a separate building in some of the resorts that allow them. I think they would make a lot personally.

(Note: Pluto, being that he's Mickey's dog, and Goofy, being a close friend of Mickey, get special privileges not given to other dogs ... for example, both Pluto and Goofy are welcome in all WDW resorts) ;)
