Are Disney Parks now charging money to participate in trick-or treating at Walt Disney World now?

Do you now have to pay to participate in trick-or treating at Walt Disney World? Because it seems to me that this Halloween activity should be always free to all visitors and guests at Walt Disney World. And i'm wondering if this is a thing that Walt Disney World started doing since they reopened during the pandemic? Because in my eyes trick-or treating should be free for all Walt Disney World guests and they should at least also give guests free Photopasses to guests who want to take photos with Halloween characters. When did you have to pay to trick-or treat in Walt Disney World every Halloween? Or did it used to be always free?

If you want to go TOT you buy a party ticket. That's the only TOT and it has never been free.

Trick or treating is only during the Halloween party. Our first party was in 2005, so we started paying for trick or treating 20 years ago - crazy to think about - time goes by so fast!

Are you talking about trick or treating at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party?
If so then its not an added cost on top of the party ticket. It is included in that price.
The Halloween party has always been an extra charge.
