Are Disney Dollars or Gift Cards Available to Purchase at the Parks or Hotel?

I wrote to the Disney Store asking where I can find Disney Dollars now that our local Disney store has closed. They gave me an address to send away for them (for a $10 fee) or a Guest Servieces location or Guest Relations location.

Has anyone actually bought Disney Dollars at a Guest services window at a park or at a hotel (specifically CB)? If they do have them, do they have all denominations available?

Or, does Disney offer Gift cards to use in the parks (not the Disney Store gift cards)? And where can one purchase them if available?

Thanks for any info (I am trying to give our kids a surprise from Tinkerbell)!

I'm not sure about Disney Dollars, but the gift cards are available for purchase at the stores in the parks and I think at the gift shops in the resorts. You can also but Disney Gift Cards at the Disneyland website - enter gift cards in the search box and at disneyshopping dot com site. The Disneyland site has more variety for pictures on the front than either the other web site or the stores at WDW. I ordered some last year and used them everywhere.

I bought Disney Dollars at MK Guest Services last October. They were available in 1,5 and 10.00 denominations at the time.

I called Disney this week because I am going next week and want to buy some more for my neice and nephew for Christmas. They advised I can still get them at Guest Services at either the park or the hotel.
