I hope this makes since!!!

Last year when we went on the free ddp I noticed that the CS credits were pooled together. (adult and child)
Example: 2 adults, 1 child for 5 nights would say 15 CS
not 10 adults and 5 child CS

I was wondering if this year they are still pooled?

They are still credited to your account like they were last year. So to answer your question - yes.

It is against WDW policy to use the children's credits to purchase adult CS meals. You won't be permitted to purchase more adult meals in your transaction than you have adults listed on your key card.

In other words, if your key card states that your party is two adults and one child, you will not be permitted to buy three adult meals.

I plan on sharing some, not all of my CS meals with my three-year-old. This will save on wasting food at some places plus give us enough CS credits left for a breakfast one morning at our hotel that we were going to pay for.

What I wanted to do was buy the plan for my 2 year old for 8 nights. The baby can eat the CS meals and snack, but since she is free for Character Buffets, use the extra TS's toward Hoop Dee Doo for the other 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Is this possible???

You can not purchase the dining plan for a 2 year old.

TS are not pooled together like CS. So an adult can not use a child TS.

In order to buy the dining plan for a 2 year old, you would have to register them on your reservation as being 3, as you can't buy the dining plan for anyone under age 3. Unless you are a DVC member or an AP holder, you will then have to purchase park tickets for the child.

If they're on your reservation as being 3, would they still be able to eat free at buffets?

If you register the child as being 3, the child will receive children's credits, which could only be used toward children's menu meals in any restaurant that has a children's menu, or for a child's admission to HDD.

Not possible the way you describe it.

You would need to include the 2yo as a 3yo on the reservation. That instantly makes the 2yo NOT FREE for everything. (If you tell them the child is 3 they will treat the child as 3 for everything) You would have to have admission and pay for buffets for that child.
Also the TS credits frrom the 2/3 yo would only be good for a child to use, not the 2 adults in the party, so you would have too many child TS credits and not enough adult ones. It would not cover hdd for the 4 of you (which would really be 5 because you would be telling Disney that you have 5 people.)
This would also be an issue if your room is limited to 4 people (not sure where you are staying.) Under 2 can be with you in a 4 person room, if you list the child as 3 years old you would be over occupancy.

Sorry.

You cant blame a guy for trying:rolleyes1

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.:surfweb:
