Are crowds heavier on "extra magic hours" days?

Is it different depending upon whether it's early or late hours? Just trying to plan out my ADR's...

Many of us go to Morning EMH (and sometimes HOP if it gets busy).
Some of us like the evening EMH at certain parks.
Some of us avoid EMH parks.

Remember that NOBODY can tell you what WILL happen with ATTENDANCE on any given date, any more than they can predict the WEATHER (which WILL affect the attendance much more than EMH.)

EMH is FREE.
I go.
If I need to, I can always go elsewhere.

EMH always increases the attendance at a park. The question is whether it increases it enough to be a factor in planning. From what I read on this an other forums, it seems that evening EMHs draw heavy crowds especially at MK. People seem not to have much to say about impact of morning EMH, but I suspect most folks hit the EMH and then hop out.

We were just there from June 20-30 and during that time DH and DS went to EMH at MK one evening. They said the crowd was incredable. The lines for the big rides(SM, SM, BTMR, HM) were 60-90 min. waits. Needless to say, they were there for a while but not very long. DH said he would try it again according to the time of year we're there.

Just got back tonight. I went to an EMH Evening at MK on Friday. The crowds were big until about midnight. Most rides were walk on after that. If you can handle being in the parks until 2am (if going in the summer), definitely give it a try. I really enjoyed myself.

2 AM??? Did I miss something...I thought EMH hour was until midnight only...If it is 2 AM then I am going to be strolling and hopping through the park :cool1: :Pinkbounc

The park stays open 3 hours after closing. In July it closes at 11, making EMH go until 2am. :thumbsup2

We were there too! The crowds did seem to thin out after the second run of Spectro. We managed to ride Pirates, Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion (3 times with no wait!) Peter Pan, and Pooh. Plus we saw Spectro, Wishes, and Philharmagic. We also ate and shopped so I think we got a lot done in a few hours, especially with crowds as big as they were.
Hope your trip was as great as ours was!
