Nope - sorry. Any type of legume is high in carbs.

Chickpeas (aka Garbanzo beans) have 54 carbs per cup! :eek:

Nope, not allowed on Atkins.

I love chickpeas. I just donated all of mine to a food drive because it made me sad everytime I saw them in my cupboard.

Once you are on maintenance you can eat the chick peas but I would limit the amount, they are very high in carbs
