Does the ship provide towels for use by the pools? If so, can you take these off the ship to use at the various ports? Just wondering...I'd rather not have to pack these if I don't need to....they are so big and bulky!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

There are towels in your room to use at the pool. If you need extra just call your steward or stewardess. When you disembark at the ports of call there is a huge bin to take towels from, you just need to return them. There is no need to brings towels. If your are castway club member you get a free towel for crusing with them again.
Enjoy your cruise

Actually you DON'T want to take the towels from your room to the pool. :) Those are bath towels, not pool towels.

There are tons of towels in bins by the pool. If you are on a DCL excursion they will provide towels; if you go on your own excursion you can take towels from the towel bins but be sure to bring them back to the ship. There is a big return bin outside the ship on port days.

The pool towels are the same size you'd get at a resort pool - not as large as a true beach towel.

When we go to castaway cay I usually take two to cover the lounger.

I hate to say this, but Carnival actually has nicer pool towels than DCL. I find DCL towels too small. You need at least two to cover a lounger or yourself!. Carnival has big soft full size towels to use by the pool.
