DD (4) has become OBSESSED w/ Sleeping Beauty. I know Aurora is around, usually in the PFF if you get lucky? DS (6)asked if Prince Phillip was there. Maybe in a parade?

And Maleficent?

We got rid of our dish TV, so we've been watching a lot of movies lately. I've been trying to get them to watch the older "classic" disney movies. :cloud9:

The only time we were able to see all the princes ad the prince is when they did storytime. Which they don't seem to be doing or at least werent doing when we were there last month. We did see malificent walking around and got her autograph

Where?

I have seen Aurora and her prince in PFF, but you usually don't see princes around too often. If she wants to meet Aurora, She shows up pretty consistently at Ariel's Grotto.

Aurora is almost always at Ariel's Grotto - and if you eat there you can also see Snow White, Cinderella and Belle. (It is not cheap but I can't handle the hours long lines at PFF!) We did see Prince Phillip once at Goofy's Kitchen, but only once. And we have seen Maleficent at DLR, to the right of the main hub as you enter Main Street. Cruella was also there.

The CM at the end of main street (on the left side as you face the castle, near the wait times board) can tell you where to find characters on that particular day. A great resource!

Good luck! :)

...Hate to rain, but that was probably the Queen from Snow White. Remember, if she wasn't green, it was the Queen.

Maleficent doesn't do meet and greets, but she does appear in Fantasmic! if that's scheduled during your trip.

My DD now 9 was a HUGE Aurora and Prince Phillip fan. I think when she was 4 or 5 she wore her Sleeping Beauty costume from halloween (we were there in Dec) and when we got to town square Aurora and Prince Phillip came running to her... calling her little sleeping beauty.

We were there for 4 days and it was always the same duo. With all the kids they see... they totally recognized my daughters. Unbelievably magical. My DD would be flirty but shy with Phillip and he played it SO good. When we were in line another day in town square waiting for Minnie... Prince Phillip spotted us and ran over... my oldest daughter was hidding... but smiling. So Prince Phillip picked my DD then 2ish out of her stroller and did a dance with her. It is wonderful, magical video. The crowd around us was shocked to see him pick a little kid out of a stroller.

After returning my daughter to us, he then headed backstage (near the hat shop)... and my oldest daughter called out "Prince Phillip" and he came running back... but when he got near, my daughter would hide. They did that two or three times before he finally ran backstage.

Granted this was 4 or 5 years ago... but one thing we found was everybody knows Cindy and Sleeping Beauty... but most people don't really call out or seem that interested in Prince Charming or Prince Phillip. They are more like princess arm candy. The fact my daughter really was a Prince Phillip fan made her standout to the CMs and made for a very special experience.

Except during Halloween

Was that when Aurora still wore her blue dress? (would be a great picture to preserve) Very neat to hear stories like that.

I was going to say dang never meet Maleficent before. Love the queen though, she is great to watch.

We also met Princess Aurora recently (last week in fact) at Goofy's Kitchen. But sounds like the princesses do rotations there, so there's no guarantee you'd see her there if you went. Ariel's Grotto sounds like a better choice if you do character dining.

We saw Aurora last week at Ariel's Grotto. We didn't do Fantasy Faire because we went to Grotto. No sign of Malificent or the prince though.

If your daughter loves Sleeping Beauty, make sure you don't miss the Sleeping Beauty walkthrough in the castle, just inside the Fantasyland entrance.

I have also encountered Aurora near the castle on various occasions. You might run into her there. You can always ask at Guest Relations where certain characters are scheduled to be at certain times, and then schedule your day around "bumping into them."

Good luck!
