Are Adult and Child TS credits pooled on DxDP?

Trying to figure out if TS credits are pooled for the DxDP. Or can the waitstaff tell the difference between the two.

While this has not been the case in the past, the information on the dining plan changes indicate this will now be the case. There has not been an official announcement yet.

When we went 2 years ago with wife, DD4 and DS1 with the DxDP, our receipts had everyone's TS points pooled together with no separation of adult and child. But a lot can change in 2 years. I don't know if CMs can tell the difference.

I hope so! We are traveling as a family and have two rooms booked. With the unofficial changes Disney has released, we upgraded one room to DxDDP. Hopefully this was a good investment for us.

I just upgraded one of our rooms too. So, I'll find out this weekend how it works. I'll post our results!

They were always pooled, similar to QS credits. It's just that now they are going to stop enforcing the requirement that a child order from the children's menu.

From the information that has been provided it also sounds like they are going to allow you to use those credits for those in your party that are not on the dining plan. That is the big difference for us.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing as we have 2 rooms also, and it sounds like it is going to be within the rules! I haven't gotten the dining plan in years b/c it's too much food, but if we can share with my parents (who will be in the other room) that would be great!

This. We have done DxDDP 4 times and the credits have always been pooled.

Until I see proof of it, however, I remain skeptical whether they will allow kids to order adult meals at TS. :)

We used the DxDP today and used 5 credits twice (there were 5 of us eating) even though only 4 are in the room with the dining plan. My kids ordered off the kids menu, so not sure about them ordering off the adult menu.

We did get a pretzel and added cheese that counted as 1 snack with no extra cost.
