The family wants to have afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian one day. We weren't sure which day. We thought it might be a good activity if we have a rainy afternoon or just need a break from the parks.

What have been your experiences in getting in for Afternoon Tea?

Thanks!!

I've been a couple of times, and each time they weren't taking walk ups. It's a small place, so I'm sure that adds to problems getting in if they are full.

I think it's always worth a shot, you can call or check your hotel concierge desk before going over there to see. Or get there are opening and inquire.

We had an ADR for ours and were glad to have it - they weren't taking walk-ups. It is a great break from a hot, sunny and humid day (in August) as well!

I've been 3 times now and each time had an ADR. Not sure if it was necessary the first time, but it was a must have in 2005 and 2007.

My son has been wanting to do this. I guess if you all have been multiple times, then it must be a nice experience.
Is the DDE card honored there?
Thanks in advance!
