Are ADR's a "MUST DO"?

We usually only do the TS restaurants for lunch. Our last trip in June 2005 we made reservations from the resort or at the parks at opening. We like to eat lunch early because we just have light in room snacks for bfast. Every time we made lunch reservations they would tell us we don't have anything available until 1:30 or later. We would always be very hungry much earlier so we'd go to the restaurants right around the time they opened and we were always seated almost immediately. Supper time may be a whole different ball game but we had much better luck walking up at opening time for lunch...
