Aquatica - Cabana?

Anybody get a cabana at Aquatica yet? I'd love to know your experience!

ive booked a cabana for june $175 so would also like some feedback.
i hear the park gets busy and there is not much shade so i thought i would treat the famly.

I'd been looking at them too but wanted to see what you got for the money. Found a video -here's the link-where a family shows you round one. Not sure we'll get one now as you'd have to spend all day there to justify the $$ and we've had enough of the heat by 2pm!!

We really enjoyed Aquatica in March. Get there early because as soon as they reach their capacity they shut the doors.

Did find that there is not enough lounge chairs at all. There were alot of people who had to settle for lying on their towels in the sand.

The body surfing river is great, faster than the lazy river.

Wave pools were OK, they cannot beat Typhoon Lagoons though. Family raft rides too short, single/double rides were fun. Great kids water area.

Dolphins were so cute. You will never see them as you go through the clear tunnels because if you blink you are already through it. But there are some great viewing areas of the dolphins.

on a future cruise ( on Holland america) I want to rent thier beach cabana,, it has an airconditioner!!

We rented one in March and it was the best thing we did. There is not alot of shade at Aquatica or chairs so people were laying their towels on the concrete. There was a long line of people looking to rent a cabana but they were sold out. There really isn't much to it. About six chairs, a ceiling fan, a refridgerator with 10 bottles of water,5 fruit punch,5 pepsi and 5 diet pepsi. You can order and have lunch delivered to the cabana and there are some discounts at the shops. Also you get two free pictures.

Is lunch included in the price or is that extra? Are you expected to tip?

no lunch isn't included in the rental price. They offer to take your orders and deleiver it. It tekes up to 1 hr to get it. Most people tip the person who brings it. Found thisd info on another thread . Hope it helps!!!
