I don't want to waste money on DC or Aquatica for our trip the beginning of March if we will freeze. My kids don't do well with being wet and cold:) I know no one can predict the weather, but for those that have gone to Aquatica/DC at this time of the year, Were you freezing?

We have went to one or the other of these parks in the last 3 years. All in March! We are going this year as well. March 2 to 15th. And we will be visiting both of these parks as well! We have always lucked out with the weather. 3 years ago March was cool, but the last 2 have been wonderful and in the 80's. We are Canadian though and will swim in January when it is 68. So take it from there!

We have done Aquatica on Christmas Eve Day and DC on New Years Day on past trips, and have had great weather on both. Of course, on those same trips, there have also been some very chilly days.

That said, I think you will be fine. You can always be flexible on what day you visit Aquatica (watching the weather and planning to go on the day that's the warmest). And for DC, they offer wetsuits which help alot if the air temperature isn't as high as you hoped (and some of the water there is sooooo warm.....the lazy river is just like bath water, and the new Freshwater Oasis is almost equally so).

My disclaimer here: I am also Canadian. We swim as soon as the ice is off the water :rotfl: (greenclan67 can relate, I am sure!!!) We enjoy water activities in Florida on winter trips and think the weather is glorious when the locals are wearing coats zipped to the chin.

Also something to keep in mind..........sometimes the weather in Florida in March is down right hot. You might get lucky, and your worries about the temperatures may be all for naught.
