aquarium dive - cert required?????

My oldest 2 daugethers, almost 18 and almost 16, have both scuba dived in the past. The oldest is open water certified and the younger has done resort into dives (with instructor supervision) but has not yet done the cert. course. I think I remember reading that you can now do the Epcot aquarium dive if you are not certified. But, I can't seem to find the info when I search. Does anyone know the answer? I think both girls would love to do it but if they both must be certified it won't be posiible unless their is something available that I'm not able to find.

Both your girls can enjoy the diving at the Living Seas, but you must be certified to participate in DiveQuest. They will require your C-card to allow you in.

But AquaSeas is a new program for folks who are not certified. Here's the info:

EPCOT SEAS AQUA TOUR

Epcot Seas Aqua Tour, is now available to persons aged 8 and above. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adults.

Program is offered daily at 12:30pm. The 2.5 hour experience includes 30 minutes in the Living Seas aquarium. The $100 includes all your gear, a T-Shirt and group photo.

Park admission is NOT required. Discounts available for Disney Vacation Club and Disney Club members.

Bring a bathing suit! You will be given a wetsuit to wear. No special certification required.

C- cards are definately needed to dive there. I called and made my reservations 2 weeks ago for NYE, they ask you to bring them and said that we will need to show them the day of the dive at check in.

That's right . . . . no C-card, no DiveQuest.

But AquaSeas is available to anyone. I believe this program is similar to the type of scuba training that is done at resorts; it's pretty rudimentary. But it gives everyone a chance to experience some of what certified divers do at the Living Seas.
