Aquaduck - how long is the wait and when's the best time to ride?

We left CC early on one of our trips (like around 2 p.m.) and my daughter got on the ride two times in a row with no waiting. Since everyone is already in their bathing suits, it's a good time to try to get on

The best times I have found and my kids have told me is during first dining. We always take second dining as it leads to a more relaxed late afternoon. Amazes me that more people don't want it. The pool deck is almost empty. Aquaduck is basically a walk on. My favorite time on the ship.

On our last cruise on the Fantasy, we had late dining and skipped the early theater show. We rode it 10 times in row with no waits and probably could have gone for more but our legs were tired from climbing up the stairs over and over again.
