Aquadoodle for Christmas present for 7 yr old dd??

Im out of ideas for gifts for my daughter.. she will be 8 yrs old 4 days after christmas and I saw an Aquadoodle and thought she might like something like that.. Does anyone elses child have one and how do they like it?? she loves to write things, draw, color..

DD and DS, 7 got one for their birthdays last year. They still drag it out from time to time. I like it because it means no markers and it doesn't matter whether or not the tip dries out, you just get it wet again. It's a pretty simple toy though, the writing just comes out blue. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10 as far as how big of a hit it was/is with the kids.
