Can APs be ordered through MS or do I just need to do it online. I prefer to talk to an actual human being whenever possible.

You can order through Member Services, or simply wait and purchase them at Guest Services after you arrive. There is no discount for pre-ordering and you still have to trade the vouchers at Guest Services anyway.

I always prefer to purchase them at the gate. All you need is to provide a DVC card and photo ID to get the discount.

Thanks for the help ya'll. I wanted to go ahead and purchase with my Disney Visa so I could be sure the reward points went on my card before we got there. Thanks again ya'll!

No, the DVC price is only available through pre-order or in person at WDW.
