Thanks for the info MaryJo. I did stop by my local
Disneystore today to buy a parkhopper for my dad, but the did not have any AP's today. They could order them, but we are driving from Utah in the morning, so I can't wait.
I thought that when we get down there, before we go to the hotel, I will stop at the 15min parking on Harbor, right by the park entrance, leave the kids and my dad in the van and run over to the ticket booth and get the AP's. If it takes longer than 15 minutes and the want my car moved my dad can circle the block until I get our AP's. Then head over to the DL hotel and check in. It is going to be a real treat. My dad is here from Norway for the Olympics, and we have been attending Olympic events all week, and now we get to take the kids to DL. I hope it will be wonderful as usual since my dad is here with us.
Year2Late, glad to hear the crowds were lights. Hopefully it will be like that for us to. Can't wait to get my dad on Soaring over California.
On the new measuring system, they don't deduct the size of the kids shoes do they. DD measures 40" without shoes, but with her new higher heal sandals, measures a little over 41". I wanted to make sure she could get on Soarin this time. Last Sept she could get on Splash and the rides at DL, but could not get on Soarin or Jumping Jellyfish, even though all of them are listed at 40", that is the reason for the higher sandals this time. She truly is 40", but I don't think the measuring sticks at both parks are the same length. She was very sad when she could not get on Jumping Jellyfish.
Hoping for a great week next week.
