I am buying AP's in Disneyland, and I assume I can buy them at the ticket booths outside DL park. Please let me know if I am wrong.

Can't wait, we are staying at the DL hotel this time with AP rates of $99, That's why I have to be able to purchase the Ap before checking in.

We will arrive in DL on Tuesday. What is the weather going to be like?

Go to the ticket booth and then inside for your picture card. It was easy, We opted for the premium with no blackout days....it gave us 10% off nearly everywhere we went.

Thank you for the info. I can always count on the members of these boards to help out. Sorry I missed out on the DIS meets, would have loved to meet so many from the boards. Hopefully we will still have a wonderful trip. Can't wait for the Magic to begin.

<font color=navy>The weather was beautifully warm this weekend. I don't know if we're headed for a cooling trend or not. You might try & see if you can buy your APs at a Disney Store & save some time, or you can try & get them at the ticket window near the monorail station at Downtown Disney. The lines are usually shorter there than at the regular ticket kiosks.

We went in early Feb and had a blast. The crowds were light. What was so noticable was the increase in characters. They had the usual scheduled meet and greets but it seemed like we kept bumping into unscheduled characters.

Thanks for the info MaryJo. I did stop by my local Disneystore today to buy a parkhopper for my dad, but the did not have any AP's today. They could order them, but we are driving from Utah in the morning, so I can't wait.

I thought that when we get down there, before we go to the hotel, I will stop at the 15min parking on Harbor, right by the park entrance, leave the kids and my dad in the van and run over to the ticket booth and get the AP's. If it takes longer than 15 minutes and the want my car moved my dad can circle the block until I get our AP's. Then head over to the DL hotel and check in. It is going to be a real treat. My dad is here from Norway for the Olympics, and we have been attending Olympic events all week, and now we get to take the kids to DL. I hope it will be wonderful as usual since my dad is here with us.

Year2Late, glad to hear the crowds were lights. Hopefully it will be like that for us to. Can't wait to get my dad on Soaring over California.

On the new measuring system, they don't deduct the size of the kids shoes do they. DD measures 40" without shoes, but with her new higher heal sandals, measures a little over 41". I wanted to make sure she could get on Soarin this time. Last Sept she could get on Splash and the rides at DL, but could not get on Soarin or Jumping Jellyfish, even though all of them are listed at 40", that is the reason for the higher sandals this time. She truly is 40", but I don't think the measuring sticks at both parks are the same length. She was very sad when she could not get on Jumping Jellyfish.

Hoping for a great week next week.

<font color=navy>Rita,

Why don't you park at the Downtown Disney parking area (free for the first 3 hours), and then your dad/kids, etc., can enjoy the sights of DD (ESPN, Rainforest Cafe, etc.) while you get the tickets? You'll be really close to the parking lot at the DL Hotel, and can just park over there. :)

The monorail ticket booth is right there & would save you a lot of time, I think.

Sorry you missed the meet - we had so much fun! I know you'll have a blast w/your dad, though. My cousins were here from Spain, speak no English, and just loved all the shows & DL. Be sure you take him to Blast!
