Has anyone used Snapfish to develop film that they have to mail in to them? I have some canisters that I need copies of pics developed again from and this is about the only choice I think I have to get them developed off of Kodak Advantix film. I'm so reluctant to trust the mail system.....but, I fear I have no choice. Thanks!!!!

Snapfish doesn't develop APS film. I ended up taking some to Target. Mine was already developed, but I wanted the negatives scanned. They're one of the few local places that did them.

Hmmmm...Snapfish's website very clearly says that they do develop APS film. I took a canister to my Target today and they don't develop APS film. It has already been developed once and, with APS film, the negatives are given back to you still inside the canister so I can't just have them scanned. I have to find some place that knows how to open the canister and make some reprints for me without ruining the negatives. :confused3

I think I'm going to give Snapfish a try first with a canister on which the pics I haven't lost and see if they develop them. I searched their website looking for a phone number to call them but couldn't.

Interesting...I emailed and was told no, after I had already ordered the envelopes. I couldn't call, either. Mine were like yours, already developed. I just wanted them digital, and at the best possible quality, so scanned from negatives.

Okay, so I found an 800 number to call Snapfish. While on hold waiting for someone to help me, a live chat box popped up while I was on Snapfish's website. I asked the person if they develop APS film reprints and this was his response...

"The good news is that we can process any major brand of C-41 process 35mm Color Print Film (almost all 35 mm color print film is C-41 process, and it's usually marked on the label somewhere) and APS/Advantix film. We can also process Seattle Filmworks (Photoworks.com)film as well as single-use cameras that use 35mm or APS color print film."

So, I think I'm going to try it out. I will let you know if it works!

Please do, because I know doing that would be cheaper than going to Target, and I'm always happy with Snapfish quality.

Have you tried Walmart, CVS, Walgreen, RiteAid, etc? I used to always get APS film developed at all of those places (it was at least 5 years ago though)
