April vacation Disney dining adventures (lots of pictures) COMPLETE

I'm glad overall you enjoyed your meal at Narcoossee's. We ate there for the first time last Nov. and loved it; both DS's have requested we return this Nov. It's too bad you skipped desert though, the almond-crusted cheesecake is heaven :cloud9:
We also watched Wishes from outside, at least younger DS and I did. Older DS and DH chose to stay inside and watch what they could from our table. The view is nice and they do pipe the music in, but I prefer to watch from the park so I made this year's reservation a little earlier.
I've never read a review of Bluezoo, lookin forward to yours!

Sorry the service wasn't good, but your entrees look divine. I had the same scallop dish as you on our last trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. Though I had to laugh that you ordered it for the pasta and I had no idea what trofie was and somehow missed the pasta word next to it ; )

I just love your reviews! Can't wait to see more. I wish my husband would let me take pictures of our WDW food. He says I take too long.

Overall, the Wave got OK ratings from the group. We would probably try it again on a future trip.
I am sorry this wasn't a delightful meal for you. It's one of our favorites. My husband usually gets the beef tenderloin, and I get the sustainable fish with edamame stew.

I have a Canon 60D. It's about 5 years old, and I am still very happy with it.
What lens do you use? Your photos are beautiful. I have a Canon Rebel T5i & still learning how to use it.

Bob and I both loved Narcoosssee's. We both got the filet and it was cooked perfectly. I couldn't get over how good the potatoes were, while they are plated fancy, the looked so plain. I don't know what the add to them but yum!!

Here we go with the final review: BLUEZOO

The adults started with cocktails (all cocktails are $13). I had the BEE'S KNEES REVISITED: bluecoat gin, breckinridge bitters, citrus, honey syrup shaken and served with orange blossom honey foam

Husband had the BURNT ORANGE: herradura blanco infused with bruleed orange and muddled with agave nectar, grand mariner, and orange juice, topped with a flaming orange.

Sister had the SERENITY: cucumber vodka, st. germain, muddled strawberries, basil, rosemary, lime and pineapple juice.

I can't remember what SDF had. All were good, though the burnt orange was too sweet.

We shared some appetizers. YELLOWFIN TUNA TARTARE, miso caviar, scallion cream, nitro sriracha aoili ($18)

Yes....this was soon good!

We had a flounder seveche special. Details lost to time...

It was also amazing.

Niece had the CRISPY ASIAN PORK RIBS: spring peas, sweet thai chili sauce, prosciutto de parma, beech mushrooms ($18)

she LOVED these! Completely devoured.

Nephew had the LOCAL FLORIDA STRAWBERRY SALAD: petite organic greens, strawberry-rhubarb jam, point reyes espuma, pistachio-rhubarb vinaigrette ($16)

also devoured.

SDF went with the OLIVE'S CLASSICO FLATBREAD: roasted tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, torn basil ($14)

Looked like your standard flatbread to me, but he loved it and ate the whole thing.

Main dishes. SDF went with the SIMPLY FISH, which that day was faroe island salmon ($35)

Another simply fish option that night was grouper, which another member of the party selected:

My sister and I struck gold with the MISO GLAZED MERO, hawaiian sea bass, shiitake ginger rice, black garlic, stick soy ($42)

this was so, SO good! Hands down the best thing I ate at Disney.

Adults were too full for dessert. Well, not SDF. He got the WARM CHOCOLATE BANANA MOLTEN CAKE, chocolate cream pudding, chocolate sauce, carmelized banana, banana ice cream ($13.50)

wowza presentation. I was too full to try it.

Kids both got the TRUFFLES, seasonally inspired favorites ($12). I am out of image capacity for this post so you will have to imagine them. They were devoured.

Everyone agreed that BLUEZOO was the hands down winner of best restaurant of the trip.

That's it folks! Thanks for looking, and may you all enjoy excellent Disney dining adventures!

I suddenly have ZERO imagination. I think I need to go to BlueZoo and see those truffles up close and personal, lol. I often hear it's the best on property, I'm glad your dining ended on such a high note.

Thanks for such a great report! It was a fun read with yummy photos - can't ask for more than that :)

I'm not sure I have enjoyed another post on dis quite as much. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
