April trip

We have always done Disney in early- mid May and have enjoyed that time period, but now that our son is entering school- we are concerned that a 2 week vacation that doesn't encompass some part of a school vacation week will not be well received.

As such, I was wondering what are the big school vacation weeks in April. What would be the BEST week to travel in April for a Disney vacation. In Massachusetts school vacation starts April 19th.

Any other advice to April planning would be greatly appreciated.

I am also from Ma. and have been in April during the school vacation. This is definitely one of the biggest vacation weeks for many people as it surrounds Easter. It doesn't bother us, but the crowds are huge. We just utilize EE and fastpasses. But if big crowds bother you, avoid that week like the plague.

If you were choosing another week in April, others have said that the last week is great. I know that doesn't help if you want to go two weeks. I wish we could go back to going in March, weather wise, that is the best month to go in the whole year (high 70's, gorgeous).
