April in DLR?

We'll be there April 9th-15th. I'm really hoping the crowds levels will be down a bit since Harry Potter will have just opened at Universal (I think on the 7th). We went 3 times in 2015, & with the exception of a few days, the crowds were really bad each time. Of course we still had fun, but it's so much better with lower crowds.

MA schools are on break mid April. DD13 and I are planning to be there 4/16-4/21. Sounds like crowds and weather will be to our liking. Too bad about the shorter hours but we can work with that. We'll just be there for opening and plan on staying til close then getting a late dinner outside the parks. We'll have to catch WoC on the weekend.

We will be there 4/9-4/14. Also hoping Harry Potter will take some traffic away. At least some of the local traffic

We have gone several times during the second week of May and it's a very slow time. Often times the biggest rides are 10 minutes or less wait.

This makes me super happy. We're planning to go 5/8-5/14 this year! I'm hoping it's a sweet spot right after the marathon and before schools let out.

I think you'll be good.
That's a great time to go with all the fresh spring flowers breaking out.

I did the first week of May last year and crowds were pretty manageable. I'm the last week of April so I figure I'll be after the spring breaks and before the Grad nights.

I wore shorts last year and never did get too too cold at night but I think I'll be packing capris or light jeans this year.

So I began to get nervous about the lack of any discounts at the Resort hotels (in fact they've gone up) and the fact that my folks keep talking about going. So I decided to have a plan B. I booked Park Vue Inn with 2 Queens just in case. That way if I don't get a DLR hotel reservation, I don't really want to be on the far side of the parks all four nights.

I'm actually glad I did as the F&W announcement makes me think that adding to my 1st reservation for two more nights or booking a Friday night (my last night) is going to get harder as the word spreads.
