This thread is really funny! I guess I'll share a few I've done (and had done to me)

This morning I went & dropped off some movies over at blockbuster & came back & Tanya was in the shower. I came in and told her the '97 mustang (which we just got a few months ago and have had to do a lot of work to it. Redoing brakes, new belt, struts, etc.) Was sputtering really bad and that I think something was wrong with it. She asked me what I thought it needed to be fixed. I told her that the Engine was really REALLY bad and I thought we needed a new one & it would cost around $1,000. She starts freaking out and tells me to call her father to borrow one of his cars and she'll have to come up with the extra $1,000 somehow today. By this time she was all frizzled up and I told her APRIL FOOLS! She wasn't happy.... She poured a bunch of water over the curtain and soaked me....

Now it's my turn to be tricked... It's an older story

I had bought a 1967 yellow mustang and had JUST put about $6,000 worth of work into it. I mean new engine, new interior, new transmission, EVERYTHING. I was still living with my parents at the time. My mom comes in my room around 7 in the morning and starts telling me how the police just came and loaded up the mustang on a trailor & took it away because it was reported stolen by the person I bought it from. Oh man was I upset! I threw on some clothes and ran outside to find my car gone! I was SOOOOOOOO MAD! I was just about to go back into the house when my dad pulled up in my car and said "APRIL FOOLS!!!" I was just standing there shaking!

I was born on April Fool's Day ( Happy Birthday to me! ) and the doctor played a joke on my mom! Both of my grandmothers are very Irish and have very red hair, freckles, etc. My mother did NOT want me to have red hair at all. When I was born the doctor said "It's a healthy baby girl with a head full of red hair". After seeing the look on my mom's face he said "APRIL FOOLS"

Another year my mom told me she canceled my birthday party because none of my friends wanted to come. Once I started crying she took me there (Chuck E. Cheese) and the party room was packed with my friends. Kind of mean to do to a five year old...

This morning my DSs were getting ready for school. I used my cell phone to call the house phone. Answered it. I made believe that I was talking to someone ~ I said there's not? why? by now my DS11 is listening. He asks - no school? I said yep, no school today. He goes dancing all over the house and tells his brother NO SCHOOL today. They get all excited and I say APRIL FOOLS!! They weren't too happy.

Couple of years ago I told my boys then ages 8 and 10, that summer vacation was canceled and the only thing they wore going to get from now on was a week’s break instead of two months. They didn’t buy it right off but I kept it up and they left to school convinced. Later that day at work I get a call from Principal telling me that my children are starting a “riot” at school because they are telling every kid that summer vacation is canceled. Needless to say I had a lot of explaining to do that night
