will be going on this cruise.
we're really excited, and can't belive its only in a few days !

Welcome Aboard, elliew94! And, CONGRATULATIONS on your first post on the DIS Boards! I'm so glad you found us! Will this be your first Disney Cruise? Have you been to America before? We are looking forward to meeting you and your family!

I am (will be on Wednesday!) a 70 yr old Grandma. (right now still only 69) Hubby and I are taking our grands to Fla and on the cruise. We will be at AKL on Mon to Wed and then THE BOAT!!!! cAN HARdly wait! I know the parks will be overloaded with spring breakers - but what can we do? Just lucky to be there and get away from the snow and cold i guess. I will try to make the cruise meet at Scoops. 3PM right?

I think we set the DIS Meet onboard the ship for 3:30pm by Scoops. I am looking forward to putting faces with DIS names!

Me Too! We are leaving sometime Saturday afternoon for our drive to Florida. Not sure where we are staying that night, but will arrive at Disney sometime on Sunday! Has anyone checked the 10 day weather reports for Orlando? Here's hoping for warm, sunny days!

Thanks for the link! Yea...it looks kind of rainy for Sunday and Monday, but then that lightens up for the rest of the week! Also the temps. for the week are kind of lower than what I had expected...at least it's not going to be hot! When do you all arrive in Florida? Like others have posted...hope your travel across the ocean goes well!

Don't worry - the rain will most likely be scattered or not even rain at all! And, the sunshine will make it seem warmer than it really is. Just be sure to bring a jacket or sweatshirt to wear when the sun goes down. For the most part, Orlando weather this time of year is pretty nice! We definitely won't have the heat, humidity, and afternoon thunder storms that are typical in the summer.

My DS is ten tomorrow. He is getting a set of golf clubs. On a whim I decided to see if could get him and DH a tee time at Disney's Oak Trail - their 9 hole course. This will be on Wednesday before the cruise. Got in right at the tiem we wanted. So on a whim I had them transfer me to Dining. I snagged a ressie for he Garden View Tea for me and my daughter!

Then because I had the tea booked for my birthday in June I had her cancel that. Because I had the tea booked I had planned a lightish dinner at Kona that night, so now I could do somethign alittle nicer. Guess who snagged a 7:30PM ressie for Cali Grill for her birthday? And because that messed up my dining plan plans, I decided to pay for that OOP and to fill my 1TS for that day I booked Crystal Palace for lunch! This woman loves her some Pooh!

A real serendipitous call to Disney for me today!

Is anyone interested in setting up a pre-cruise meet at WDW? If so, please post the days and times you're available to meet to see if we can coordinate something.

Last July, we did a pre-Mexican Riviera meet at Disneyland and it was a lot of fun! We had arranged to meet at a quick-service restaurant with outdoor seating for lunch. We all sat around a large table - kids on one end and adults on the other. Everyone had a nice time, and then the next day it was a lot of fun boarding the ship and recognizing new friends right away! It's amazing how often we ran into each other during the cruise!
