We sailed our first cruise when my youngest was 8 months. It was a challenge, but we still had a great time.. He will be just over 2 this time, so we should all have an even better time!..
Please, Do you have any tips, My girls are 8 and 10 and I have completely forgotten everything about babies? Is there anything I need to bring beside the basic baby care stuff, Any tips that made life easier onboards, Anything??? Thanks

Well to my immense surprise, I did get a reply from DCL today. It did not say a great deal, but it mentioned all the issues I raised so it could not have been a form letter. Essentially this letter could not have been written unless somebody read the my whole letter from start to finish. I call this a result. It did mention that my comments have been passed to the relevant managers.

Glad you got a response, maybe, just maybe, they'll listen, fingers crossed!

A man traveling in our group is from Australia as well.
We're slowly discovering Disney and we're coming on mass!

Have a nice long weekend, we have just the 4 days (although many businesses have Tuesday as well).
I'm just heading out to Robert's Mum's - she wants to declutter her house![]()
Is the scared face because you are doing a 'Hoarders" style clean-up or just a general declutter? Good idea to declutter, I suppose it's just less stuff to clean up again after the next earthquake.

My favorite Australian candy is Violet Crumble. Just saying....![]()
Hmmm, that sounds like a hint. You'll need to remind me, I have baby brain, but I am happy to bring some.

LDL - good to have another Aussie aboardWhat are you going to do about your daughters and their schooling ? Are you just doing the cruise, or spending extra time in LA ?
Last cruise we did there were 3 Aussie families onboard.

We are hoping to leave on ANZAC day and do a few nights in Disneyland, then come straight home after the cruise. The kids will miss school, they go to a great school where they encourage travel and believe they learn more overseas than in a classroom. So, 3 weeks shouldn't be a problem.
Sounds like you've got a great trip planned, Hawaii and DL first, Pure Bliss!

OK....our flight leaves Rochester in just 9.5 hours for our trip to DisneyLand and then our cruise from LA up to Vancouver then the first Alaskan...and we just finished packing...finally!! Now it's time to get to bed so we can rest up for the trip...
....but before I head to bed wanted to post and let everyone know that we're going to be trying to blog this trip like we did our last...anyone who wants to follow along can do it at:
