I bought one of the shadow box frames from Michael's and put my cruise pins in it. Missing the EBTA and Mickey Porthole form 2010 PC.

Does anyone know if they started a thread for the August 5,2012 Canadian cruise.? I looked but I could not find it.

Hey guys....someone has to have the answer to this....if we try to rebook this cruise on the May 5th Dream....which I think would not save us any money since they probably have no cat. 11 staterooms available....would they still give us an onboard credit for making the attempt to booking on the ship? Also....if I transfer this ressie to Dreams Unlimited what kind of OBC are we looking at for a cat 11B?

Thanks much....
Tom & Marilou

Just found out that my friend Marlene, is chosing this cruise over walking across the stage to receive her diploma for her masters degree from UCF. She's decided that this will be her graduation present. :cool1:

WONDERFUL graduation present!

So instead of doing the Eastern Carribean in Feb. we will now be joining all of you on this "Wonder"- ful cruise to Hawaii!!!

Traveling will be me (Annette, 42 at time of sailing) and my Dsis (Amanda, 43). Since this cruise is in between my and Amanda's bday, we will be celebrating both on the ship. My bday is 2/3 and her's is 6/22. We love the Wonder!

Our last cruise was March 10, 2011 for 3 nights on the Dream and before that is was the 14 night WBTA.

I gotta to start reading since this thread is already over 50 pages long!

Annette :)

HEY! I've never seen anybody else from Lansing on the DIS! How cool!

I just can't stay caught up. I'm 11 pages behind and have to stop for the night. Still 3 other threads to get caught up on. That will have to wait for the weekend. Off to bed to dream of Hawaii! :cloud9:

That is one crazy line...I'm so glad no one at my house is a pin collector!

Thanks for all the 'Welcomes'

This cruise will be a surprise for Trevor, since he graduates from High School in 2012...we just get to cruise before the actual graduation!

Over a year to go and here I am wondering if we will have linked dining, room tours- candy, postcard and scrapbook exchanges and will Paula have a bag of books outside her cabin door? Is that considered overplanning?

Janice

Yes to ALL of these!!! :thumbsup2:woohoo: Not overplanning. :rolleyes1

It would certainly be worth a stop at the rebooking desk. Maybe they could just rebook you into the room you have now. :thumbsup2

Angie, you never told me you cruised with people from my city before! ;)

Well, you didn't ask! :rotfl: :lmao: Holly, meet Annette. Annette ----Holly. My friends.

I don't think that there many of us from Lansing.

We did the WBTA with them and they gave me directions to come visit them :)

ROADTRIP!!! I-90! Glad you remember how to get here. We would love to have you stop on by.

I booked on Friday and got an 11B gty ... I paid off my deposit today and got an email notification that I now have a cabin number ... no 6131 right beside the aft elevators on port side. Anyone know if this is a good cabin?

Any cabin on this cruise is an excellent cabin!!! :woohoo: Seriously, we've been all over the ship in CAT 11 cabins and have had no problems with any. :thumbsup2

Thanks ... I looked at the map and the location looks good .. no noisy areas above or below ... Do you know where the laundry is on the 6th floor?

One thing that kind of bugs me about our port times. I was recommended to do Germaine's luau, however, there dinner starts at 6 pm and we leave at 7:30 from the Hawaiian ports. So it looks like no night luau's for us

Just use the contact us link in the DCL home page on the bottom. The ship does need to stop in Ensanada as it needs to visit a forgin port before the cruise is over. Count me in on one who will not be getting off in Ensanada. When contacting them also please ask them to use a RSP process for any special pins they may have for this cruise, or for that matter any merchandise they may have for this cruise. I hope enough of you will do this this as I did so the problems we had on the PC cruise will not be repeated here.

I am way behind so this may have been answered but what is the RSP process? What happened to pins released on your cruise and which PC cruise was it?

Thanks.
Jan

Maybe DCL will treat us to some sort of luau onboard. :thumbsup2

Agreed. I know this maybe weird, but a luau holds no interest for me.

When we took our kids to the luau at the Poly at WDW, our daughter-in-law said it was much nicer, more respectful of culture, and more entertaining than either of the two she attended when in Hawaii. She said the dancers in Hawaii had modern tattoes they did not hide, modern hair styles they did not change and an "attitude" that was palpable.

SO

I am happy to see what DCL does for us on board!

;)
