How are those? I have thought about getting them, how well do they travel?

I used them for the last 3 cruises and they work fine. We get the one that has no scent and put them in a ziploc.

I will be joining the laundry room party as well. Anyone else on deck 2? Or which deck will the party be at? Will anyone be there with magic bullet?

I miss thunder snow! I grew up between Northglenn and Brighton. I sometimes tell my friends about it and they don't believe me.

I've seen plastic bags and even the Disney Store bags so really anything goes.

Our FE is pretty awful - its an old toiletry bag that we have jazzed up. On the bright side, no one will steal it

sometimes I see the re-useable bags that have mickey or the DVC logo on them - you know those woven kinda paper ones?

I suggest you take a wire wrap tie with you - so your bag doesn't disappear.

You can usually find those at the parks or the Disney Store for under $2.00

I also have another vote for the Purex 3-1 sheets. No risk of detergent bottle breaking and leaking all over your clothes. Plus, they are light and easy to pack.

I think we're going to do it as well. The Groupon is not only for a surfing lesson but for an outrigger canoe trip. I checked out the video on their website of the canoe trip and it looks amazing! Going to call to see if they have spots available that day and buy the Groupon!

We use them too and I also take Shout color catcher so I don't need to separate too much and then wash 5 loads and sit in laundry room forever.

I sit in there forever too, my DS still has to bring his favorite blankets. And after a week they need to be washed, so that is always on my to-do list to pack the Purex sheets.

We are in #2107 which is only a couple feet away from the deck 2 laundry room!.. I don't think I will join the laundry room party.. Something tells me that vacation in a laundry room is not going to be that much fun!

I find the talk about the Captain's and CD's extremely interesting. I have never thought that who ever is staffed in that position when I am cruising makes or breaks my vacation. My DD even talks about them. I don't have favorites and quite honestly could never tell you which one was on which cruise. I really must be in the miniority but I find that we have such limited interaction with them that it doesn't matter to me.

I tend to not notice CDs or Captains either...
In fact, the first CD's name I ever even retained was Peter because on the ebta he decided to use a talk show format on tv every morning for announcements & interviews & I enjoyed that. he was low key, but really quick, as he demonstrated by actually keeping up with Charo in her interview!! I was so proud that I even knew a CD's name!

But I do remember Christian too, actually, because he would seek us out to chat every time we passed by him, after an initial chat at the CC get-together. In fact, he seemed super attentive & friendly, and even followed up with a CC issue we had...maybe it's luck of the draw??

Count one more in favor of the 3-in-1 sheets.
I have read that some got little "spots" left behind with their dark colored items load, but I didn't have any issues. Should say I also include the shout color catcher too, so maybe that helps more than I knew!! DH is the one in our family that likes doing laundry....so if he goes to deck 6, I'll have him take "refreshments"....

This is the full view - DS Dylan can't be with us but thought this way we would use it this summer for our fantasy cruise...if not more of them!!

ETA: DH is hoping people will think there are 3 of us, instead of just 2, & leave more candy. I haven't told him I signed up for *all* FE groups & candy swaps....LOL

Yes, he is pretty excited about turning 11 onboard. We are celebrating my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversay too so Cam cant say it was all for him.

I actually ordered the yard of fabric to have pockets added to our shirts, but when that didn't work out, I started an FE...and when that didn't work out..... I sent it to someone else to make!! Still have a bit left that someone is trying to convert to a shopping bag for me....but we will see how that works out!! Such fun and a great souvenir!!

oh, it's always a party in the laundry room! I hope that the Wonder has upgraded to the machines that take the stateroom keys for charging.

I usually bring those 3 in 1 Purex laundry sheets.

Another vote here for them, however, I've looked everywhere and can't find them in Canada anymore. I bought the little individual pouches for this trip. I have Tide Liquid and another brand that is powdered. Haven't decided which to bring yet ??
