Well, a little set back in our cruise plans. Last night my three year old was bit by a dog. One pretty good puncture, on his lower leg. Some fat hanging out, but I got it cleaned up and put in three sutures. Well, today he wont stand on it at all. Off to the pediatrician...

Poor guy! Good thing for kids club because he will have to keep out of the water until you remove the sutures. What did the pediatician say? Hopefully no infection. Prayers and pixie dust

My son got stitches right before our vacation a couple of years ago. The pediatrician gave him the thumbs up then. Hoping you get the thumbs up as well. I recall I was so worried about having to tell him he couldn't go in the ocean I was nearly in tears.

Trying to finish up but am getting nervous about getting things done. We will be going back to CT a few days after we get back so we got to get things here ready to close up. Too much to worry about and the more I worry the worse my eyes get but sometimes I can't help it. With everything going on with us I hope nothing else happends before we get on that plane.

Jan- Big Goofy is giving me bad looks for not taking him and he is talking a mile a minute but he has to be a good boy and stay home. He will be content with his Mickey book.

So, the Hawaii DOT is now finally posting our official port times.

However, I am just a TINY bit concerned that they are showing the Disney Wonder arriving in Kahului (Maui) on Saturday, May 5th with an arrival of 6am and a departure of 8PM as of Friday at 1:30pm.

As the organizer of the Alternate Luau that night, I'm kind of hyper-ventilating at the possibility that they are going to change the all-aboard time. I know the Disney luau has the same times as ours, but....yikes!!

Okay, assuming that is a typo, but the rest of the info is correct, we'll be pulling into berth 1A

In Hilo, we are still listed as coming in at 11am and out at 11pm, docking at Pier 1 also as of Friday at 1:30pm...hmmmm

In Kauai, we are listed as coming in at 7:00 and out at 5:00pm, docking at Berth 3.

So, not sure what to make of all this - you would like to believe that the DOT would have accurate info, but who knows?!?

Just got a confirmation email from Babies Travel Lite that my order has shipped!.. If nothing else, my 2 yr old will at least have diapers!.. If I don't get packing, he will be the only one covered!

I am sure he will be fine. You are leaving him reading material and I bet there will be snacks nearby. You can take his picture along if you think that will make him feel better.

Hope all was ok today at Dr. Amazing no matter how well you plan something always seems to come up last minute. I am beginning to feel like a firefighter putting out small issues all over the place today!

I am soooo overwhelmed right now. All this packing and trying on clothes is ridiculous. I gained weight when I was in Cleveland and NOT happy. I'm the type that has to clean right before I leave and wash the bedding. I have to work in a pedicure, manicure, bank run, wash the car, the laundry. Make magnets, get FE's ready. Will it ever get done by Wed????

Ok all....thanks for all your good wishes and pixie dust. My brother has been released from the hospital and he will be on comiden for the rest of his life. The doctors do not recommend that he travels anytime soon but his wife and wifes sister are both nurses so it is still up in the air. Speaking to him today he leads me to believe he may just do the trip with them bringing a machine to constantly check his blood and levels. Doctors can just advise you and you have to make your own decisions....but if you make the wrong one you have to suffer the consequences....and he understands that.

Bag washing the car unless it is only to go thru a drive thru one..Why bother when you are going to get dirty within 24 hrs anyway Thank God my granddaughter is staying here...I pre apologized and told her she would have to clean it for herself pets will just make a mess because they are stressed that we left them anyway. I am working on a laid back tropical attitude here But I am so not ready!
