No, you are definitely making one each. 4 was the workshop number. I left them in for my reference so that I bring the right materials to the right workshop.

My post apparently failed earlier.

The kids are ready for cruising. . . Well, OC needs to change his pajama bottoms for some trousers . . . but other than that.

I love their outfits. I once again wish I could sew. We have some well loved bunnies that travel with us wherever we go.

I see it as still open this evening at 9:50 p.m.

This is driving me insane. Every time I look, it is showing as sold out. I might have to try this on DH's computer.

I too am trying to keep my DL stuff separate from my cruise stuff. If is harder to pack when you have to fly instead of getting on the ship from here.

Linda- John and I reserved out scooters from Dercket.

Just want to check --for the Champagne Girls we leave out pink boas and crowns home???

I always provide pink boas and tiaras....but for a Hawaiian party I'm bringing pink leis and hair flowers. No need to pack anything. Everything will be provided.

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Lovely sunny morning here, just right for yard work. Now that the clothes are finished and the renovation is at a standstill, I have to do SOMETHING to keep occupied. It might as well be raking.

My girl's name is Dimples Ursabear. Dimples is a "girly" girl like I never was - and she is SO thrilled you noticed her, Jan.

Connie, I used one of OC's shirts for a pattern for his. The fronts could have been a little longer, but I am NOT going to remake it now. For the dress, I measured Dimples and sketched it out - then made a model out of the white material that was on the yardage. That became the lining for the dress.

Socababy, I hope you have the MOST marvelous time on your cruise with your family! I can't Wait to read your trip report from that one.

I am glad I could make Dimples happy . Interesting how our offspring have personalities different from ours.

We're divers too but hadn't thought to book diving ourselves and opted to do DCL excursions instead. How many dives and where are you planning on diving?

I think I have read recently that all was back to normal. I'll be boarding her Sunday and will report back!

Well Pre cruise plans have now been set in stone. 10 of our party will be at DL on the 28th. 8 of us will be having a noon lunch at Club 33. I will be showing my friends from NH around the parks as well. It's going to be a long day. I also know at some point we are going to Trader Sams really quick. Also my friend and I were talking yesterday and we are betting to see who lasts longer the first night. I told her I will close down Wavebands. So the chalange is on.

Does anyone know how crowded the parks are this time of year? We don't get to LA until around 12:30 (noon) on the 27th and were planning on doing park time after we got settled into our hotel. So, probably about 2:30 or 3pm. Hoping to get both parks in between that afternoon/evening and the whole day of the 28th. Just wondered what to expect crowd wise and if we should be able to get thru them and enjoy most the rides we like.

Diving is a challenge due to the time and place where the Wondet gets in. Dive boast normally leave at 6:30 in the morning. Hilo is out all together and the better diving on the Big Island is on Kona - or at night....so no dive there. Maui we are diving in the morning but shore diving. We are renting a car - driving to the dive --- good news is that it will be shallow so hence it will be long. We have an option of a two tank, depends on the time as we need to get back to the ship for the Luau bus...(drive into Lahina, drive back - drop off car, change, get bus drive back...)...but we have ben to Maui before but never dove the Pacific. Ohau we are not diving, and then back to diving on Kuai, again, we are renting a car and driving. It will either be a two tank boat dive or a shore dive, depending on their schedule.

If I had never been to Hawaii before I would not dive this trip. It will take a lot of time for not a lot of diving. But as we have stayed on all of these islands, and we are also from the Atlantic coast, it is what we want to do.

I had another productive day today. We have a 4 day weekend in the UK, but unfortunately I have to work 3 of them. I had today off though. We went out for some late lunch and then I did a bit of shopping. I managed to get some light-weight foldable ballet flats, which I will wear for dinner and also some canvas espandrilles to wear during the day. I also got one of the Fish Extender gifts for the children in all nine groups. This is not home-made, but I could not resist this.

On the topic of Fish Extender gifts, one of the components that I still needed to make two different kind of gifts has arrived yesterday so I made those today. Now I am just waiting on one more component for a different gift, but the main gift is done and this is just to put the finishing touches to it. I have also sorted the gifts that everybody participating in Fish Extenders will get by decks. Over the next couple of days I will take photos of the gifts that are going to people doing multiple groups and then I can sort those. I was kind of torn between putting them in the suitcase and maybe having to pay to check a second case or mailing them to our friends in California. The second option has won. I will mail them on Wednesday.

I am starting to believe that I will actually get everything done that I need to do for the cruise. The next project is getting the jewellery workshops prepped, which I will start next week. The only other thing that is still outstanding is getting two of my evening gowns taken care of. They are a bit low cut for my liking and I got some lace that hopefully can be used to make them more modest. I have to see a seamstress about this on Wednesday.
