Life just seems to get in the way of Disboards now I have a new baby, I forgot how much work it is having a baby (my girls are 9 and 10).
Doesn't look like any further plans have been made since my last visit.

I apologize (again) for the trial and error we are going through with this shirt design and order process. I thank all of you who have been so encouraging and supportive.

When I calculated the due dates for this project I left out an important factor, the fact that not everyone who sends me an order will fill the order. In order to have the shirts back and mailed out, I need to send Becky our order and payment, by 12-31-11. The good news is, we have more then the minimum order amount, 50 shirts, paid for but - 40 less then the 100 needed for the price quoted. I am hoping we reach that amount, but if we don't, I will need to email everyone who has paid and ask for additional $ or refund.

I know with the holidays it is a difficult time to make final payment for the cruise and pay for shirts. However, if you can, please send your payment as soon as possible.

My husband is already worried that we made a mistake booking this first sailing to Hawaii. Since we are only silver, we have really almost no chance to get two of the excursions we would really like......

We are one of those Platinum folks that will not be booking excursions, we are going on our own. You always have the option of booking on board, it always seems that things open up there. Good luck on booking your favored excursions!

I can't believe I am doing this but ----

A number of people have asked me if our shirts are going to be white background with only the trim in blue.

I have explained I only posted with the white so the images would be easier to see. The response I got was they like the white just because the images are easier to see and it looks less busy, then with the blue background.

While it would be easy to get the background changed to white while they are changing the order of the ports, what does the majority think? Should I send e-mails to those who have ordered and let you all vote?[/QUOTE]

Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that we had to cancel the Hawaii cruise. It was too close to the MV of the Fantasy for us and we couldn't get the time off work. Hope everyone has a great time!

I see a few familiar names. We've done a four day cruise, the first Mexican Riviera cruise, a Panama Canal cruise, and I also did the first transatlantic cruise.

Is there someplace I can go to get an update on what's happening with disboards for this cruise?

Currently the count is at 101 adult shirts paid for, qualifying us for the lower cost of $33.50 for sizes small through XL, and $38.50 for XXL and XXXL.
Material is $16 a yard. $15 plus $1 for maker shipping and handling.

To mail your shirts and material to those of you in the US, I plan to use the USPS priority mail envelopes. At a cost of $7.45, $4.95, plus $2.50 for insurance. (note if you ordered both shirts and material want the material shipping earlier then the shirts, I will need you to send separate USPS mailing charges). The envelopes hold up to 3 shirts. If you have ordered more then 3 shirts, increase the mailing costs accordingly.

A PayPal account has been set up just for the shirt orders. Valbob89@aol.com is the account payment should be posted to, via PayPal. PLEASE REMEMBER in order to avoid PayPal incorrectly charging a transaction fee, you must DESIGNATE PAYMENT AS A PERSONAL GIFT not a merchant merchandise transaction.

Nothing to say - just glad to be another day closer to Hawaii

We made it to FL!!!!! It took us three days and we had great weather and no problems. Healthwise I am doing ok = still have a few problems but I am trying to look at the bright side of things.
Can't wait to go down to the port and see the Magic and the Dream. It will make Hawaii seem closer.
We still did not decide on any excursions yet. I would love to do the helicopter but it is expensive and John is not too interested and it would cost him more to go.

I never considered the possibility that an excursion would be sold out by the time my silver opening window becomes available! I'll have to cross my fingers!

My kids and I, along with my IL's, are on the April 8th MR cruise and I just booked our spa and Palo reservations. Since this cruise is 3 weeks later, it makes it seem so close! I know I will miss the kids like crazy but I sure need a break!
