There is a lot of information on page 1 with things you can sign up for such as group lanyards and various events the group has organised for onboard such as Champagne Girls, scrapbook classes etc.

However, currently the count is at 120 adult shirts and if everyone fills their pre-orders, we will qualify for the lower cost of $33.50, plus and additional $5 for XXL and XXXL. This charge includes an estimate for the shipping and handling from the shirt maker.

Material is $15 a yard plus $1 for maker shipping and handling.

To mail your shirts and material to those of you in the US, I plan to use the USPS priority mail envelopes. At a cost of $4.95, plus $2.50 for insurance and tracking. (note if you ordered both shirts and material want the material shipping earlier then the shirts, I will need you to send separate USPS mailing charges). The envelopes hold up to 3 shirts. If you have ordered more then 3 shirts, increase the mailing costs accordingly.

Disclaimer: Pricing info is based on us getting at least 100 shirts paid for. We have about 120 ordered. If we don't get at least 100 paid for, I'll let everyone know and you can decide if you want to increase your shirt cost or have me refund your money.

The shipping and handling charge is the manufacturer's estimate based on past experience and the number we plan to order now. If anything changes, such as the USPS raising rates, etc., the charge might increase slightly, or, it could go down. I'll let you all know and should a refund be in order, because I'll be leaving your $ in the PayPal account, it won't be hard to refund.

Due date. I've started taking $ because board members were asking if they could send it now and since we reached the 100, I said yes. I need to send the $ to Becky at the end of the year, before 1-1-12.

A PayPal account has been set up just for the shirt orders. Valbob89@aol.com is the account payment should be posted to, via PayPal. PLEASE REMEMBER in order to avoid PayPal incorrectly charging a transaction fee, you must DESIGNATE PAYMENT AS A PERSONAL GIFT not a merchant merchandise transaction.

It does not appear we will have enough orders (10 of each size needed) to order children size shirts. I am sorry that could not be arranged but I am exploring other ideas.

Val, there is no way we will be able to order the shirts as we won't know for definite till mid January. I will be so sad but I think my John will be quite happy as I think they would not be his thing at all!! I can never get him to order the normal group tees so I would be hard pressed to get him in the fancy shirt. I think they are beautiful however and a great group item.

I will enjoy seeing everyone wearing them around the terminal and ship on embarkation day and whenever else you choose to wear them.

Aaaw, thanks. Brits just don't buy and wear these shirts. I guess we just don't have the weather. Out men(not John fortunately) like horrible football shirts though!!! John has one very subdued tropical shirt from the first Panama Canal cruise I got him for Tropical night. Perhaps I will pop that in the bag.

For this cruise, yes Pearl Harbor is my top priority. I am so thankful I am Platiunm now so I should get what I want for a tour. Heck, I have been told if I want that $500 one I can take it, just I need to concider it a late birthday present. I don't think I will do that one, I am leaning towards the $149 one.

My group is doing the $149 tour as well, maybe we will see you there! Also, as a fellow platinum member, I will be racing to secure my tours on New Year's Eve.

You never know. I would not say you made a mistake booking this first cruise to Hawaii. You are going to be part of something very special. Our very first cruise on DCL was the '05 crossing of the Panama Canal by the Magic. I don't regret it at all. It was a very special cruise and holds a very special place in my heart. So don't worry about it and enjoy.

There is always the possibility that you could book your own or maybe join another cruiser who is in the same situation. We are gold and also fear we will be shut out of the things we want to do, but if that happens, we'll just have to explore alternatives. But we are still going, since we may never have another chance to visit Hawaii.

We are platinum and not booking anything. Don't worry, there are so many options for Hawaii. We will probably book through tour companies on our own. I hate the hurry up and wait on the DCL excursions. So much extra time is built in that it drives me nuts! So we are one less Platinum group to worry about.

I cannot say for sure, but I think they only open blocks of spaces for things at each Castaway level. For instance, if they have 60 spots for a tour, 20 spots are open for Platinum, 20 for Gold, 10 for Silver and 10 for new cruisers. At least I think that is how it works. So, I would not get discouraged, I am sure you will be able to book what you want!
