Bugs me to that I can't see picture any larger. I looked at order form and they want stateroom number and we are still gty.....

Same here.. I only see the small image, which doesn't give a good idea what the graphics are. Plus we are still GTY as well. I do find it odd how this ordering system works. What is wrong with an add it to the cart and pay for it way to buy? Who still uses order forms like that? :confused3:mad:

I check everyday to see what the price difference is between our 11B and a 10C - hoping it comes down to about $500 or less...we're not there yet.:rolleyes1

BUT - I did notice that my same 11B was cheaper online today than when we booked - so I went ahead and rebooked our reservation in the same category and selected the same cabin and we got a $28.52 refund.:cool1:

I'm sure you may be able to call DCL to do this too, but the difference was the taxes and fees part of the cruise fare. Every penny counts these days for many, so I thought I'd share.

Looking forward to getting to CA in 84 days.

We did not do anything but got a new statement by e-mail with that amount stated as a credit.

Thanks DCL ::yes::

Couldn't agree more. Who wants to order a shirt that you can't really see? And what's with this clunky site? It really leaves a lot to be desired. As for your last question, sadly, the answer seems to be Disney :confused3.

Well since people where sharing what they were doing Pre cruise I thought I would share as it was finalized about a hour ago. We will be spending the day before we sail at DIsneyland with a cruise kick off lunch at Club 33. So excited. It will be my third time there but there will also be 3 first timers as well. What a great way to kick off the trip.

How incredibly special. :cheer2:  It is something I know we will never have the chance to do, but I can be both envious and pleased for you at the same time.

We did get a brief tour of the Club a few years ago on a special tour we took. I was disappointed they did not have a good postcard of the entrance or lobby..always love to have a professional shot in the scrapbook with my pictures.

Have a great time and please plan to share your memories with all of us when we have a Dis met......

I will be happy to share, problem is I very, very rarely attened Dis meets, not that I don't want to meet you all, just I have my own rutine. I am sure you understand. I hope you do cause I am getting confused.

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Congrats on your Club 33 visit, Alan. Count me among the envious, too.

I sure won't be ordering any of those shirts from Disney! I want to SEE what I'm paying for, thank you very much.

Happy Day, all!

We are. Looks like Offical opening is 6/15/12.

Awwww nuts! Miss it by a month. But then that means we have to go back again, right? :thumbsup2

We have booked out Oahu excursion through this company and will probably also use them for Maui:
http://adventureinhawaii.com

Brilliant, thanks, I'll check that out!

I know that is so true for us. We should have did it sooner. It's so true about what they say at the presentations, ask the members, they will tell you they wished they signed up earlier.

That's us... members at SSR since 2003 - we tried to join in 2001 but they couldn't seem to get it working for us with paying by CC then - but in 2003, no problem, they put down the deposit while on the ship and the rest of payment 1 week later so we could so it with the bank this end.

We love DVC.

We are coming from South East Virginia. So, it will be a very long flight to California but this will be well worth it!

Comments like this crack me up... I'd love only having to do a 5 hour flight to get to LA. ;) We have 1.5 hours to Auckland, then 12 hours to LA. And its even longer for Hayley and her family coming from Australia (and she's bringing a baby!). Someone give that woman a medal!

WBTA was the worst though - 33 hours to Barcelona! ... OMG!

Long sleeves are for all of us living in northern states who wear long sleeves 75% of the year or more :-)

I'm with you there, I may live on a pacific island but its rarely warm enough for me to wear short sleeves. No palm trees and tropical beaches this far south ;)

WOW just getting caught up on lots of posts :surfweb: my wife has started packing and we look forward to meeting everyone:grouphug: this will be our first Platinum cruise:woohoo: also DVC members since 1998:banana:

 Since I had to change my flights, I am now flying out of Charleston. What day are you flying out ?

I don't know, but it makes me crazy!.. Maybe a "hate" email in in order for this issue!.. That might be on my agenda today!.. :lmao:

Medical update- I went to the dr yesterday and I am now on meds. It seems the muscles are looking for antibodies which I guess i don't have enough of. I have to go for a cat scan tonorrow to check the thymnus glad and if it is enlarged it has to be removed. I spoke to my wonderful dr back home and he assured me all the right things are being done. He said the chance of the gland being enlarged is slim- but with my luck who knows . He said the meds work in most of the cases and it might take a while for the right dose. If that does not work the nuerologist here said something about transfusions. I asked about the cruise and all she said was we will have to wait and see what the results are. Needless to say I am very upset. hope I get some good news soon.

On another topic the Diseny ship left here yesterday (Port Canaveral) and was not out about 5 minutes when it had to turn back for a medical emergency. Hope all is well there

I hope you get some answers and feel better soon!

Someone I follow on Twitter/Facebook is on that cruise. The tweeted they were turning back, but they never tweeted what happened. Some other folks said there was a medical emergency on board.

:thumbsup2
Wow! We live in Suffolk.
I must say that I'm jealous, you have some of the best restaurants up there. Not to mention the Williamsburg Winery! My favorite!

It really is a small world after all. . . . I couldn't help myself.

a-ha!!!
May I say :welcome: aboard!!
Do you know when you are flying out to LA?

We love it here....reitred Military and it is in between both our jobs/ me in Richmond & Angel in Hampton

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

Some more graphics for our cruising if you need for magnets...thank to great DISigners on this board.

HawaiiWonder4.jpg

Thanks for sharing. I really have to do another batch of magnets, but I keep finding more and more graphics that I love.

Does anyone know if we will tender or dock at the ports in Hawaii?

Thx!

Andrea
Lizzy'sMom

We will dock at all of them.

Not sure if anyone posted this yet, but the Hawaii items are now listed on the Disney Cruise Gift Page.

Thanks for sharing. What I can see of the first t shirt, I really rather like.

Just read where they're doing maintenance on the GC pool. The good news is they should be done before we all get there :thumbsup2.

I hope that it will be open again by the time we get there. DH will get crazy if the pools are not open. I still have my annual pass and intend spending as much time as possible in the parks, but he has already announced that he will give the parks a miss this time.

I hope that they will figure out soon what is going on and that they find a treatment that works.

I have finally got a few spare moments to catch up with things on here. I have had an interesting weekend. We had some freak weather across various parts of Europe which meant that a lot of the feeder flights were cancelled, people could not get to the airport in Rome and a bunch of flights from the UK were cancelled or redirected. It felt like I was working 24 hours a day. I have a day off today and I slept for 14 hours straight. Now I am ready to face the world again.

One thing that I did achieve is making a start on my Fish Extender gifts. I have all the supplies for the gift for the men and made about 40 of them. I am really pleased how they have worked. I am waiting for more supplies for making the gifts for the kids and the ladies. They should hopefully get here by the end of the month.

Secret Mickey

If you have ever participated in Secret Santa, then you have a good idea what this is about. You will be allocated a family or an individual and it is then your task to spoil them rotten during the cruise. The budget for this is $25 to $30. This does not have to be anything faqncy. During the cruise, you should drop a little something off for your Secret Mickey 2 or 3 times. This can be a note, some candy, a souvenir, a magnet, etc. On the last sea day there will be a reveal session and during this, you should give your Secret Mickey a slightly bigger present.

You can sign up for Secret Mickey through the following links:

Scavenger Hunt

There has been a little change of plan due to the sheer number of people signing up for this. Rather that me printing all the Scavenger Hunt packs, which would take up a significant part of my luggage allowance, I will email this as a PDF file to everybody signed up. Then you can print your own and bring it on the cruise.

Please fill out the below form:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dG5vWFAtd21XVE9rNnBSMDg1RkN2ZEE6MQ

I will then email the file to everybody who has filled out the form at the beginning of April.

Nice!!

For those who have never been, never say never. Sometimes Pixie Dust appears at the most unexpected time. We were invited by DIS friends that we did not even know had access to Club 33. They took us on the 39th anniversary of the day we met at Disneyland. :lovestruc Since we have gone once more, taking a group of DISers that had been saying they would NEVER get to go there. :cloud9:

We've mailed out the fabric to those who responded to my e-mail that they were ok with the size and layout of the pattern. Some of you asked that I send it with your shirts and I will. I still need to hear back to my e-mail from a few of you. If you didn't get my e-mail, let me know.

Each group will have a maximum of 6 participants, but I am happy to offer each workshop more than once if the demand is there. All workshops are suitable for beginners. Adult workshops will take place in the Outlook Cafe or the Cove Cafe (Early Birds) and Kids/ Tweens and Teens workshops will take place in the Promenade Lounge.

If you are interested in any of the workshops please send me a PM with the workshop or workshops you are interested in and for the Kids/ Tweens and Teens workshops the name and the age of the participant. Also, now that you have had the chance to see the prototypes, could you let me know which theme you would like to do for the bracelet.

Most of you should have received a PM/ Message or Email with payment instructions. About half of you have already paid. Thanks for this. For the rest of you, unless you have contacted me and we made alternative arrangements, the payment is due by Friday, February 10th as I am planning to order the bulk of the supplies over the weekend.
