There is a list of people interested in brunch at the beginning of this thread. Our name is on the list and would love to be a part of the group. We will be celebrating our 45 anniversary on this curise.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts. I got the results of the MRI and no brain tumor or blood clots! They did come up with a sinus infection and they say it could be causing the double vision. I di not feel like I have a sinus infection but it was there on the MRI. I am on an antibiotic and am still waiting for about 5 blood tests to come back. But I am so relieved about no tumors or blood clots. Hope it is an easy fix.

Glad you got some good news. Sending the blood tests get the same results also an easy fix.

Looks I way overbought the supplies. I was working on the premises that I would probably need 100 for each category. Oh well, looks I will have a bunch of ready made gifts for a future cruise then.

I'm Sheena and I'll be sailing with my husband Steve, we will have been married 6 years just a few weeks before the cruise. We have a DD who is 2 and a half but she will be staying with Grandma and Grandpa for this cruise.



I'm still reading through the boards to figure out who is running what, if there is still room, and then talking my husband into things.

This will be only our second cruise and after seeing doors decorated and the fish extenders, I really wanted to join into the fun. Though, I'm getting into the party late. And nope, I didn't just think to type 'DCL forums' into Google, don't ask me why. ^_^ Honestly, I had no idea that there was extra fun to be had.


So, any tips from all the veterans out there would be greatly appreciated. Packing? Fun things to see or do? Things we should know.
Our first cruise was a three night, so we really didn't have a chance to do much or miss anything if we forgot it at home.

Welcome Aboard ! You already got some great tips so I won't repeat any. Sounds like this is your first long cruise.......my advice is after you pack your clothes take half of the clothing out. You just won't need them.

I posted way back on page 166 about so much for the women to do and asked about what is planned for the men. I saw someone posted about poker. My hubby loves to play pinochle. Can we get some men together to also play pinochle? We have to keep the men out of trouble.

Also, any plans for beer tasting, wine tasting, martini tasting, and rum tasting that have been done on past cruises?

Would love to go to Aluani but we're doing the Pearl Harbor VIP tour and won't get back until 3:15. Do you think it's too late to go? Is anyone else planning to go after the Pearl Harbor tour?

For those of you who have already started putting together your FEs, are yours more for the adults since you don't yet know what age/sex the kids will be in your group?

I've been collecting little odds and ends since our last cruise so most cabins will be getting a small selection of items and most will be completely different per cabin. I'm leaving it totally up to the cabin occupants to fight over which goodies each individual receives

Things are starting to fall into place for this cruise. We Have our excursion for Oahu booked and confirmed now and we have been so impressed with this company that we may book an excursion on Maui with them as well. On the Big Island, we are still hoping to do Disney excursions.

Do you mind sharing who you are doing your excursions with other than DCL - a rental car works out quite expensive adding on all the insurances and fees so we have at this stage booked with DCL for Maui, Kauai and the Big Island but can easily change our minds...

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

It's SO slow to get in here and post except at some ungodly hour in the morning that I just don't do it any more. Sorry. I waited 13 minutes for the thing to post a comment the other night and finally gave up.

We just signed up for the WBPC in May, also. I rolled my cancelled westcoast repo cruise to that one.

I'm making 100 FE gifts, too. If we don't end up with 100 cabins, some will just get doubles. I hope the moms get the packaging first - the kids can have the contents,

One of the blood test came back and to make a long story short I have some muscle eye disease and my dr back in CT assured me it can be treated with steroids. I still am waiting for the other results. Not too happy with the dr here- too busy to talk to you or return calls. Hope We can still do this cruise.

Time to find a new Dr. if he is too busy to talk with you. If it can be treated with steroids, is it something that will clear up ? Hope you can recover from this quickly.

Dis is slow for me to be searching, sorry. I believe the post was about how to get a group of people together and have the private room for brunch. It's up to one person for the reservation, and that one person needs to get everyone's reservation number. I haven't seen any list, just the info on page one. Does that make sense ?

There is a tab on the spreadsheet to sign up. (first page of this thread) But, I don't think anyone has agreed to coordinate this yet. There would actually need to be one person for each group of 14 to send in the request for the private diningroom. Not a hard job, if someone wants to take that on. We are not in the group brunch so I can't do that.
